What are the differences between Ledvance LED capsule bulbs?
We stock Ledvance LED capsule bulbs with different bases: G9, R7s, G4 and GY6.35. The number shows you how far apart the two pins are. For example, G4 LEDs have pins that are 4 mm apart. You can use our filter function to display bulbs with the right base.
Where are Ledvance LED capsule bulbs used?
LED capsule bulbs from Ledvance can be used in various areas of application. We offer products with a warm or cool white colour temperature. As all LEDs in this category are very small, they can be used as display cabinet or furniture lighting.


Can halogen bulbs be replaced with Ledvance LED capsule bulbs?

Yes! You can find some dimmable LED capsule bulbs from Ledvance in our range. Simply use our practical filter function to display the products. Dimmable LEDs have the advantage that you can determine the brightness and always adjust it to the situation.
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
