Philips Coreline DN140B / DN142B LED downlights are known as the durable and user-friendly replacements for conventional CFL-ni and CFL-I downlight fixtures. This is because the fixtures fit into standard cut out sizes: 150 mm and 200 mm. They emit a bright light that lasts for 50,000 hours.

Difference between the DN140B and the DN142B

Both Coreline versions provide your (business) spaces with high-quality 3000K or 4000K light. This with a light intensity between 1100 and 2300 lumens. The biggest difference is the glare rate. The Philips Coreline DN142B includes downlights with UGR<19 (aluminum reflector) or UGR<25 (white reflector), making them an ideal fit for offices and communal areas. With UGR<22 and UGR<25, the DN140B is only suitable for transit areas, shops and receptions.

Efficient light, option to DALI dimmable or Interact

Philips Coreline LED downlights have an efficiency of up to 120 lm/W, making them a good investment to reduce energy costs. Do you have an InterAct installation or DALI? Then you can manage your lighting even more sustainably! In this case, opt for the DALI or InterAct Ready Coreline downlights. If you opt for fixtures from the DN142B series, an emergency lighting unit is also an option.
